ELEGANCE DEFINED

Recent design trends highlight a growing preference for warm wood tones, translucent stains and sleek slab-style doors. Embracing natural beauty, versatility and sustainability, this month’s Siteline blog introduces our latest material option: Rift Cut White Oak Domestic Veneer.

What Is a Domestic Veneer?

Domestic Veneers are created from slices of wood, such as Rift Cut White Oak, showcasing the natural variations of weather, soil content and growing seasons of the wood’s natural habitat.  Domestic Veneer doors and drawer fronts create a calm, restful vibe, and at the same time, introduce some interesting, often subtle texture. Siteline Cabinetry offers five Domestic Veneer options, including Alder Flat Cut, Cherry Flat Cut, Maple Flat Cut, Red Oak Flat Cut, and Rift Cut White Oak (All pictured below, left to right, with a Natural/clear finish.)

What Is Rift Cut White Oak?

Rift Cut White Oak offers a unique linear appearance that includes mineral streaks and small pin knots that add to its natural beauty and charm. Rift Cut White Oak Domestic Veneer is offered with Acorn, Cobblestone, Harvest, Natural and Sandpiper stains (All pictured below, left to right.)

What Door Styles Can You Choose?

Rift Cut White Oak Domestic Veneer is available on the Dyson and Elliott door styles. Both door styles are  ¾” thick, timeless slab door styles, with square outside edge profiles, and matching hardwood veneer door edges. Dyson drawer fronts have horizontal grain, and doors have vertical grain. The Elliott offers vertical grain on drawer fronts and doors, which is not grain flow matched. Both Dyson and Elliott feature a Natural Maple Veneer door back.
