French Country design has seen a comeback in the last few years thanks to shows such as HGTV’s Fixer Upper. C’est vrai (it’s true)! It invokes ornate and traditional styling in a lot of designers’ minds, but it can be effortlessly elegant and simplistic. With pieces that are both glamorous and rustic, this design aesthetic can create a subdued yet historical feel. Furniture and cabinetry often have flowing lines with sophisticated silhouettes. Vintage touches and old world charm is key. We say oui to this motif!

Cabinetry isn’t just for the kitchen – check out our luxurious bathroom inspiration board below!

With Siteline’s extensive offerings, you don’t have to choose just one door style, or even just one finish! For this vanity, we imagine a two-tone combination: the base cabinets in the molded Christie door style, painted in Moody Blue with a Black Glaze; the wall cabinets in the Gothic Mullion door style painted in Opal with a Grey Glaze. Glaze highlights the molding and curvature of these two door styles perfectly. Add classic latch-style hardware to complete the look.

Top your vanity with exquisite white and black quartzite, and vintage-looking faucets. Add in a backsplash with arabesque teal tile, with an ornate but simple mirror hanging above. Tile this space with a uniquely patterned cement tile. We can’t imagine a French Country bathroom without a classic claw foot tub and a plushy makeup stool. To top it off, a gorgeous and glamorous chandelier to brighten the space.

Your parfait wintery getaway, all year round!
