ACORN & CHESTNUT: TODAY’S WOOD TONES

Are you trying to decide between a paint or wood stain finish for your 2024 remodeling project?

In this month’s Siteline blog, we look at two of our newest stain options: Acorn and Chestnut. Acorn and Chestnut were added to the Alder, Cherry and Red Oak palettes in 2022.  These two stains feature a more neutral brown value, with de-emphasized red/gold undertones.

Acorn Stain

Acorn is a modern midtone stain, suited for an accent island, primary bath vanity or possibly a chic family room built-in.  Acorn is also available with Black Glaze.

Chestnut Stain

Chestnut is a richer, deeper value, ideal for a more stately or historic environment.  While suitable for all rooms, Chestnut could be the perfect finish for a grand primary bath or built-in library.
